2011: This was in Chiang Mai, Thailand, as part of a package that also included an elephant ride, an ox-cart ride, a visit to the Tiger Kingdom and the orchid farm.
It was a short ride on the bamboo raft. We didn't do the rowing, of course. We were tourists. Package tourists at that. We just sat on our sorry asses and took pictures.
