Stay in a Jjimjilbang


2012: A jjimjilbang is a huge complex of public bathhouse in Korea. It commonly houses pools, Jacuzzis, sauna and steam rooms, as well as spas or massage beds. Some might even have restaurants and a casino in it. Most jjimjilbangs allow visitors to stay overnight, so that was what I did, because it was cheaper than a hotel. They only provided a pillow though. You had to sleep on a mat on the floor in a communal area, but that was much better than the only alternative I had...
