2011: My first floating village was in Cambodia on Tonle Sap lake. It was fascinating to see how they could make a living and a community on the water. I saw a floating police station, basketball court and hospital. They put small kids in big pots and let them use soup ladles as oars.
2011: The next one was Kampung Ayer in Brunei. It was more a village on stilts rather than houses floating freely like what I saw in Cambodia.
