Get a Henna Tattoo

2015: I had been searching for a cheap place for a henna tattoo when I found one at a charity party in KL. They offered to do a tattoo for only RM5 and it was quite good too. I chose to have it on the palm of my hand so as not to make it too obvious when I was at work.

The artist fell in love with henna art when she traveled solo in India for two months (!) and she learnt the rest from YouTube. Also known as mehndi, henna art is usually reserved for weddings.

I asked for an intricate design. It was pretty impressive.

The tattoo lasted more than 10 days, after which it began to look like dried blood and started peeling, so that at first glance I looked like I had a skin disease.
