Stay in a Capsule Hotel

2014: Originated in Japan, this is not for the claustrophobic. It is the size of a coffin, almost, stacked on top of each other and looks like a morgue, if not an incinerator. Everything about it is morbid.

This was in Tokyo, somewhere close to Shinjuku station.

My compartment

It has got a TV and radio inside. The A/C is centralized, so if you don't want to suffocate yourself, better leave the blinds halfway open. I could sit upright, but it may be impossible for someone taller than me.

2015: My colleagues and I went to the container hotel, which was a bigger version of the capsule hotel, enough to fit two persons.

The room was cylindrical, so of course I had to make full use of it.
