2013: I was a last-minute bridesmaid for my ex-bestfriend cum girlfriend cum scandal cum everything in between. I was flown all the way from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu the morning of the ceremony, without so much as the briefest idea on what to do as a bridesmaid. (I had never attended a friend's wedding before)

So my boyfriend and I reached the airport in the morning, took a taxi, changed into our traditional costumes, attended the event which lasted not more than an hour, and then said goodbye to the newly weds as we continued our journey for our own honeymoon in Phuket. We always joked how the bridesmaid got to go on a honeymoon while the bride stayed behind.
